But Ricardo Diaz, head of the NBI’s Counter Terrorism Unit, says they can’t tell if Ampatuan Jr. prays in his cell. Ampatuan Jr., a Muslim, has been under NBI custody since Nov. 26, the day he turned himself in for the massacre but denied involvement in it.
