I have been websurfing Iligan City for over two years and visited there for the first time in April 2008 and a follow up visit about one month ago.
I have had a video slide show on Youtube for a few months of pics and a story line of my first visit which has now accumilated over 1000 hits. It was my first attempt at putting something like this together so there are a couple of errors in it but nothing major and after spending many hours making it I did not feel like making any changes.

I found your website through Skyscraper City , Iligan thread which I have been viewing this site for a couple of years and occasionally post there.
I live in New York USA which is almost exactly half way around the world from Iligan.

thanks a lot to jinglesfan for posting a documentary of his trip in this humble city of ours. I really enjoyed it. Iligan is such a charming city but it is marred by such an ugly conlict that is a bygone product of the emnity and religous differences sown by the spaniards in the island of mindanao centuries ago.
Just this december, several bomb explosions rocked iligan and dampened the usual festive mood of iliganons. the city now resembles a ghost town with most of the people afraid to venture out for fear of being maimed by further bombings..
i hope Iligan can have its own online radio station so we, who are away from home, can have a feel of home. right now the radio station i listen to is an FM station from Dipolog. duol-duol, pero it’s not home.
There may be some stations in Cagayan De Oro that stream live on the internet.
